WHS is excited to announce our first kayak outing. Meet board members and fellow histotechs while enjoying the Wisconsin summer. Feel free to bring guests.
Feel free to bring your own kayak, canoe, or SUP. There is a $5 launch fee paid to the Village of Richfield per vehicle parked. Please consider carpooling when possible as parking is limited. If you need to rent a kayak, KT Kayak Rentals rents on Friess Lake. Rentals are at the expense of the participant. Reservations for rentals are required through KT Kayak Rental. Visit ktkayakrentals.com (be sure to select Friess Lake). We suggest you make your reservation ASAP.
We will meet at 9 am at the Wild Marsh Boat Launch and put in there. If you prefer a different put in at Friess Lake feel free to use that. We can meet on the lake.
Bring some snacks and drinks (don't forget water!). If anyone is interested we might stop for lunch either during the paddle or after.
