Over the past few weeks, it has become clear that the world is facing an unprecedented challenge. Like you, we are deeply concerned and want to do what we can to help keep our communities and our families safe and healthy.
Our hearts go out to the individuals, businesses and communities affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Needless to say, as society leaders our primary focus is – and will continue to be – the health and safety of our members and all those involved in making our annual Tri-State Histology Symposium a success.
Due to the increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19 as well as increasing company travel restrictions, the Tri-State Planning Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Tri-State Histology Symposium. From the onset of this situation, we have been listening to the appropriate sources for accurate and up-to-date information, and our decision reflects those inputs.
The good news is that the event has been rescheduled to April 2021 and will again be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Rochester, MN. If you have already paid registration we will work with you to refund the money.
We have also been informed by Hilton that if your hotel reservation is cancelled prior to April 27th you will not incur any cancellation fees. The hotel will be cancelling any room reservations made under the Histotechnology Tri-State Symposium block and will send a cancellation notice to you via email however it would be in your best interest to verify that your reservation is truly cancelled. If anyone made reservations not identified with Tri-State, they will need to cancel on their own.

17th Annual Tri-State Histology Symposium April 29th - May 1st, 2020
You are invited to participate in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa Tri-State Histology Symposium. We offer an outstanding program of seminars and workshops that begins Wednesday afternoon, April 29th and concludes at noon on Friday, May 1st. Join us for education, vendor displays, and socializing as we celebrate Histology Around the World in 2020.

Symposium registration is due by April 22, 2020. There will be a $20 additional fee for late and on-site registrations. Refunds will not be granted after April 24, 2020.
All presentations are approved for NSH contact hours. Attendees will receive an email after the event with instructions for printing the NSH Contact Hour Certificate.

Please note: The ABC's of AFB and Microarray 101:The Basics are limited to 20 participants each. Preregistration is required for these two workshops only. If you plan to attend one of these sessions you will need to complete a separate registration for the workshop after registering for Tri-State.
